This case study focuses on a company in the retail industry that is dedicated to improving customer communication and delivering a seamless experience. Neova team was tasked to perform Development activities as below.
1.Bulk Messaging Efficiency
- Challenge: The primary challenge was overcoming the inefficiencies of sending individual messages to large groups, which was time-consuming and labor-intensive. The client needed a solution that would allow for streamlined communication with multiple users simultaneously, using a familiar and user-friendly interface.
- Goal: The goal was to develop a bulk messaging web application that mimics WhatsApp’s interface and functionality, enabling the client to efficiently manage large-scale communication with multiple users at once.
2.Real-Time Message Tracking:
- Challenge: Ensuring real-time tracking of message statuses (such as sent, delivered, and read) was critical for effective communication. The client required a system that would reflect these statuses instantly to allow for timely follow-up actions and maintain the flow of communication.
- Goal: The goal was to implement a solution that provides real-time updates on message statuses, like WhatsApp’s message ticks, within the application, ensuring that users are always informed of the delivery and read statuses of their messages.
Solutions
Frontend Development:
- We utilized React to create a user interface resembling WhatsApp, ensuring a familiar experience for users.
- Integrated features for sending individual and group messages, along with media sharing capabilities (photos, videos, documents).
- Incorporated message status indicators (e.g., single/double grey ticks, double blue ticks) for tracking the delivery and reading statuses of messages.
Backend Development:
- Developed a Node.js server to handle the backend functionalities, ensuring smooth processing of Bulk Messaging Web App.
- Integrated Meta’s WhatsApp Web APIs to enable WhatsApp messaging features within the application.
- Configured Webhooks to manage incoming and outgoing messages, ensuring seamless communication with WhatsApp’s infrastructure.
Real-Time Communication:
- Implemented WebSocket for real-time communication between the server and client, enabling instant updates on message statuses and group activities.
Business Impact
